About Us
| Established in 1954 by Ian Manson, Wanrua Poll Herefords is one of the leading Hereford studs in Victoria. For over 70 years, we have produced progeny and elite animals to clients across Australia, and exhibited our animals throughout Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. Wanrua is now run by Ian's son, Andrew, who has continued to build the family legacy. Wanrua's early-history dates back to 1863, when Ian's great-grandfather, Donald Manson, began cattle farming and grazing in the Gippsland area. The lands he acquired are still owned by the family today, with Andrew's children now the sixth generation to live and work on the property. Our decades-long commitment to animal productivity, whilst preserving traditional bloodlines, has helped give us unique insight into what creates the perfect, functional animal. As a result, today our cattle are renown for their natural-doing ability, weight-for-age, and consistently strong performance. Contact Us |
